Quagga Disguise – Little Monkey

Little Monkey tries out her new Quagga disguise, in an attempt to surprise unsuspecting passersby!

What is a Quagga?

The Quagga was like a zebra, but with no stripes on the back half of its body or legs. It is now extinct, and was thought to be to be a separate species of zebra. However, DNA analysis has since shown that the Quagga was a subspecies of the Plains Zebra. By selective breeding, an attempt is being made in South Africa, to produce a living Quagga. The results so far are encouraging. Check it out at the Quagga Project.
