More wayside flowers.
When all at once I saw a crowd – A host of golden daisies!
The long-suffering Little Monkey waits patiently in the middle of the daisy patch for Mum to stop messing around with her camera. Walkies! Remember??
post script: The answer to yesterday’s question: Why is the rose bud called Orson?
Orson is Orson Welles. One of his great films is “Citizen Kane”. At the end of the movie, Kane (played by Orson) utters the dying words, “Rose bud”, which you are led to believe is the name of his childhood sled.
Congratulations to Ramblingratz, who got it right!
Little Monkey looks adorable sitting amongst the daisies. Fame at last – and I thought I had wasted my life away lounging around watching films π

Some dogs ike to sniff the flowers, Maggie included.
I like daisies, as did Meg Ryan in You Got Mail (flu scene). They’re friendly and cheerful!

These Daisies are pretty ! I have come to learn that wild flowers are no less beautiful than carefully gardened ones..One just has look at them.. π So,that’s why ‘Orson’,I assumed it was a variety(I am not good at names….
