Continuing my week at the seaside, here is the view along Muizenberg beach, Cape Town.
The water is cold, but that doesn’t bother all the surfers in their wet suits. My friend and I were surprised by the activity on the beach. Apart from the surfers and a few other walkers or joggers, there was a man with a metal detector searching for ‘hidden treasure’, a man with a long pipe and spade, digging for mussels or bait I presume, and someone fishing; the pole was there anyway. Usually the fishermen are farther along to the right, in the rocky part of the coastline.
There are quite a few dogs in this photo too. No, you’re not going blind; they are very tiny!
