Dogs are creatures of habit. If they have been trained to lie on their bed when they go in the kitchen – then that is exactly what they will do; even if their bed is no longer there!
Mr Spaghetti Legs’ bedding has been collected in a pile ready to wash. The sponge mattress is leaning against the door.
The old boy lies in his usual spot, and manages to get his front paws on some sort of bedding. It looks really uncomfortable!
But in his mind, he is lying on his bed!
SL does like to have a pillow of some sort !! Kinda similar to humans, right ? 😀

We moved our furniture back to how it was when he joined us and he’s a new dog. Way funny how they are so habitual. He now lays on the couch and lleans in on us. Something he didn’t do when the furniture was the opposite direction.

That is so cool and true! 🙂
We humans are mostly creatures of habit too!

Yes we are – the more so, the older we get I think. 🙂

I guess he would rather sleep in this place uncomfortably than to sleep somewhere else comfortably 😛 He managed to look super cute even he slept uncomfortably 😀

haha Yes you’re right. This is where he is supposed to be – so he is 🙂 He wasn’t like that for long tho. I made his bed up for the night 🙂 And yes, I think he is cute too 🙂

This is what makes dogs so loyal. They know where they belong and they will always go back to it 😉

Once they have learnt their place in the pack – they keep it 🙂 And it really doesn’t take long to teach an ‘new’ old boy the ropes 🙂

How cute. Liked your story. Guess this would be liked someone taking our bed. Dogs all have personalities just like human beings. Good post.

Mr SL is seemingly in an uncomfortable position to me to be sleeping on an imaginary bed of his 😀

Love it… and so typical! My biggest challenge (I’m working on it) is to break away from my analytical self – determining cause and effect; evaluating scenarios; assessing potential results etc. etc. ……… and just try to approach Ray situations as simplistically as possible. His approach to life is so “clean and simple” that I find it complex to understand! I have to consciously simplify things to see his perspective. No doubt I am a typical human and Ray is a typical dog!! 🙂

And because of that we can learn from each other. It is good to un-complicate our lives a little 🙂
