This naturally occurring phenomenon made me think this is what the poisoned apple might have looked like, that the Wicked Queen gave to Snow White!
Here it is with its more boring ‘litter mates’.
I’ve no idea what caused such a strong delineation of colours.
And as yet, I have not been brave enough to eat it!
Very nice!! I wouldn’t eat it though, just in case haha. However, in case you decide to eat it, make sure a charming prince is on stand by, to rescue you π

Cool apple! If they could make those regularly, something tells me kids would be more into eating fruit!

haha – If they made fruit stripey, yeah kids might go for it π

And some adults who are less-inclined to eat them as well! (Looks at self accusingly)

Aw – I know that feeling! This is the first time I’ve bought apples in a loooong time! – And look what I got in the packet!

Perhaps it’s a sign – though I don’t know if it would be to buy more or fewer apples!

Oh, neat one. An apple that actually shows the visible fraction of the Moon versus the hidden part. (About three-fifths the moon can be seen from Earth, if you wait long enough, although the edges aren’t easy to see well.)

Interesting and scary….as if genetically modified and one accidentally fell into the others meant for the market…ha ha as if a mad scientist still think Snow White is still somewhere out there π
Smart of you not to eat it as we never know π

This is a ‘chimera’, I wrote a post about them a bit back when I found a rose that had the trait. I’m sure this is exactly what the evil queen gave to Snow!!

Now I remember reading your chimera post, but obviously not when I wrote my post – or else I’d have mentioned it and you.
Quick re-read – very interesting, and must be what this poisonous apple is! π

Amazing, the straight border between the two colors looks like it been made by human hands! I wonder too how this came to be.

I think it must rather have been in the genes – than any sun/shade external event – but who knows! π
