I love receiving a bunch of flowers, but I also like it when I am down to the last few survivors and can place them in a little vase as a posy.

What is a posy? Well, obviously, a small bunch of flowers; but did you know it also used to mean an inscription on a ring?

Then we all know the children’s nursery rhyme, “Ring-a-Ring-a-Roses, a pocket full of posies”; which apparently does not refer to the plague.
