The main reason for my travelling to the UK last month was for my daughter’s marriage. Here is the lovely old car, a Talbot, that drove us to the ceremony.

I love vintage cars 🙂 This one gives a feel of a relaxing Sunday and church bells tolling for the ceremony 😀 I am sure you had lots of fun 😀 And Congratulations Sci 😀 😀

Hi 🙂 And sorry for such a delayed reply! For some reason a whole lot of your comments just did not show in my notifications – I happened to see I had all these comments pending in my Dashboard!
Good to see you back, and hopefully posting a bit more 🙂

Wow, I know the wedding of your daughter was a grand occasion. What a wonderful reason to take a vacation. Glad the groom had a family friend with such a great old car, I know that had to be so much fun to ride in such an old and grand automobile. Sometimes life brings us such happy times that we can turn into wonderful memories.

Oooh…congrats on your acquisition of a son in law 🎊🎉🌺🌹🌸Love the car…a real dignified event indeed. Was everyone in coat tails, top hats and ties whilst ladies in their gowns 😉

Thank you so much 🙂 The car belonged to a relative on the groom’s side and had been in the family for decades.
Not quite top hats and tails, but suits – and cravats (that I made – more in a later post!) and a lovely silk cream and rainbow-coloured wedding dress 🙂
I now have two son-in-laws, as my younger daughter was married over here in Nov last year 🙂
