Sunday Musings #29

Each new day is an opportunity to start all over again . . . to clarify your vision.

– Jo Petty

This is a variation on “Today is the first day of the rest of your life” but I do believe it is worth remembering.

We mess up all the time: well I know I do. You forgive others, so forgive yourself, and start afresh and try to do better. It is all we can ever do.

So you ate a whole chocolate cake yesterday and slipped from your diet just a tad. No matter; today you can start over and not eat a whole chocolate cake!

Wonderful quote it is! ❤ Whatever happened has already happened..There is no point of insisting what we can't change…better start all over again…It's a simple concept, but we often forget it. Thanks for reminding us Sci! ❤ 🙂

"So you ate a whole chocolate cake yesterday and slipped from your diet just a tad. No matter; today you can start over and not eat a whole chocolate cake!" – It's such a cute example 🙂 I really love dear! 😉

Nice post. Today, I am only going to eat 1/2 of this giant hershey’s candy bar I bought. I will save the other 1/2 for the tomorrow. Ha I try to start afresh each new day, it seems that life is easier and more enjoyable that way. I would talk more now, but my mouth is full of chocolate candy. Har

OK, I’m not going to eat a whole chocolate cake today…………. just half!!
You’re right though, we all mess up occasionally, but it’s one day. It doesn’t have to be every day. 🙂
