Sunday Musings #34

Forget the times of your distress, but never forget what they taught you.

– Herbert Gasser

It is often hard when you are going through tough times ever to envisage things getting better. I read once to ask yourself, will I still have this problem five years from now? The answer is usually: No.

There is also the saying, “What does not kill you makes you stronger.”Β To which you start to reply, “Then I must be invincible by now!”

So if you are going through a tough time, remember it will not last. Something will change, even if it is only that you accept it.

And that you need the bad times to appreciate the good times!

Aw, thank you, and glad it helped a bit. πŸ™‚ We all get stuck in these places at one time or another, and need reminding that it will not last. πŸ™‚

Sometimes it is hard to see through the dense fur of one’s black dog, this is why it is so important to have the support of family and friends, to remind one that there is a different future.

My Mother always said that saying to me – “What does not kill you makes you stronger.” The secret to making it though to the end of a hard journey is to – “Never Give Up!” This too shall pass is true and like you said if it does not pass, accept it! Good post.

It is so hard when you are right in the middle of it, to see the pain-free future. I wish you all the best! πŸ™‚
My wrist still very sore and swollen – but don’t worry, LM has written my post for me for tomorrow! πŸ˜‰

LOL! Woof woof would be LM’s post. Rest the wrist. In my little red dot we have Tiger balm. It is an embrocation rub that brings swellings down. Thanks for your kindness always in well wishes. I wish you a speedy recovery. 🌻🌹🌸
