It has been raining the whole morning here in Hong Kong and “the sun” just came in the perfect timing to clear up the ugly weather 😛 Well capture of the beautiful flowers Sci! It made my day ❤
Just past 4:30 AM here and the sun is not quite ready yet. But enjoyed the song. Must get my walk in before the sun arrives full blast. Lovely little verse for your flower.
I battled to find the original George Harrison version of “Here comes the sun” to link to in my poem, but I think I did? 🙂
And thank you – my dog is a bit of a Noo Noo, hence the nickname of little Monkey! 🙂
So you did! I went back and checked. In fact, I’m listening to it now as I type!
Bit of trivia – this is the only difficult-ish piece of music I can play on the guitar. Whenever I’m at a party or something and someone asks if I can play, this is always the song I choose.
The trouble is, I’m completely stuck for an encore. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, maybe! 😀
You could try “House of the Rising Sun!” Very little guitar ability needed and everyone will start singing along anyway! (And so drown out your chords!) 🙂
So pretty! I remember there is a song to “Here comes the sun…” but unfortunately I do not know who sang it and I can hear the tune in my head..was it Bee Gees Sgt Pepper something something? 🙂

Thank you 🙂 And I understand about walking before the heat! Already, here in CT, the sun is starting to bake. I hibernate all summer!! 🙂

Woe to anyone in the house who leaves the drapes open in summer.

Was it a cover version of the Beatles? Joking aside, they are very pretty little flowers and your poem suited them very well.
Incidentally, your dog is hilarious!

After elevated temperature in August we feel autumn now. So nice to see that spring is anywhere 🙂
A wonderful photo, Scifi.

These are beautiful!
Love the smell of the actual flower, but never warmed up to the smell in all the bath products available.
