I Will Survive!

Spring 1

Spring 1 Hibiscus

Spring 2

Spring 2 Bougainvillea

Walking round my garden it is a joy to discover new growth among seemingly dead plants.

Spring 3

Spring 3 Rose

From the Hibiscus to the Bougainvillea to the Rose to the Azalea.

Spring 4

Spring 4 Azalea

And finally the Oak tree planted as an acorn many years ago by a little grey squirrel.

Spring 5 Oak Tree

Spring 5 Oak Tree

A tiny spider has visited these Oak tree buds and weaved its magic web.

So all these plants, and many more, have lain dormant and survived a mild winter to suddenly spring forth again into new growth, now the sun is returning. They have survived!

And what better way to survive than with Priscilla Queen of the Desert!

I was amazed to know these plants survived a mild winter. Salute to them! 🙂 It’s such a magical feeling to see them grow again! ❤ I feel like they are just like a small baby…so fragile, but full of hope 😉 Thanks for sharing these gorgeous pictures Sci! 🙂

And here we are, winding down our growing season – here’s hoping it stays warm here and I won’t desperately need to see your pics of warmer climes for at least a few more months!

Oh my…..fickle weather eh? Never mind it must be SA style! Ha ha!! Have fun in your yo yo weather pattern and if it gets too cold, have a drop of vodka 😉 and use the straw 😀 😀
