Sunday Musings #39

The best way to show your love for a giraffe is to knit a scarf for it.

I like knitting and often knit while watching a movie, especially in cooler weather.

I once knit a scarf six feet long, but I don’t know if I could love a giraffe enough to knit it a scarf!

So you can show how much you love it – by knitting it one! šŸ™‚
And besides, it gets jolly cold out here in the bush at night!!

The large surface area of their neck that is not covered with black spots loses heat rapidly the moment the sun goes down – hence the need for a scarf! šŸ™‚

The giraffe would probably eat the scarf if you put it around his neck. Make sure if you knit one for a giraffe that it is color coordinated with his stripes and spots. Ha

I have a hand knitted (by my “ex”) scarf that is about 8ft long. It ‘s a great wrap around in the middle of February here and has been a conversation piece on many occasions. When my ex and I went our separate ways, one of the few things I was able to retain was that scarf and an old Chevy Astro van! With those two items, what more could I have possibly needed! šŸ™‚
