Do you see that?

I am not bragging about how many views I suddenly seemed to get the other day, (because this is dismal compared to most of you), but rather I’m pointing out that the number of hourly views on my blog, on average, is ZERO!

hahahaha

No-one reads my posts!

Well, I know this is not true, because I have some very faithful followers, who will like a post out of support, even when they do not understand my sense of humour. And we have had this discussion many times before, about how WP does not seem to count all the views.

Still, I thought that no views, on average, was hilarious!

Oh, that is too funny! (Also, this is why I try to avoid the statistics on the blog – says someone who really wants to do a post on her blogging statistics.)

They say that no views is good views (or something like that), so who knows what nose views are (probably pretty hairy). On the other hand, in-the-know views know views of your views blow nose views away.

Don’t forget that views from the Reader don’t count so many more people will have read your posts than you realise. It would be good if Reader views were counted in the stats.

Seriously I never understood the complex working of WP, but I am happy to see that I can count right now the comments and believe that Zero is not Zero. 🙂

That’s hilarious! I love how before they preface the grand total of zero views with the momentous news that your blog is getting more traffic than usual! I think those numbers look ever so slightly questionable. As I think you know, I’ve been a bit disheartened with my WordPress stats at times, but if they’re are all just a lot of nonsense to begin with, well… 🙂

    I think not stressing over figures is definitely the way to go. It’s fine to have ambition, but if it stops being fun and just becomes a chore, what’s the point?

Well, I always read your posts and I think your blog is very intesting. I got a report of my one year accomplishments on my blog and you are one of my best followers – So thank you for that Mad Cap. Takes a long time to acquire followers, so neither of us should ever get discouraged. And there are many times that wordpress does not count everything we post. Congrats on the spike in your stats. Since I read on the WP app, I wonder if anyone using the app gets counted? I’ve not wondered about this enough to research it tho!
