Oops! I’m a Murderer!

Hanging Basket 1

Hanging Basket 1

You may remember that all the trees in my garden were heavily pruned last August (my winter)?

Since there was then no shade for my hanging baskets in their current position in my large Eugenia tree, I had to move them all around, finding any bit of shade that I could.

I duly continued to water all the plants in each hanging basket:

or so I thought.

Several months later, I suddenly noticed this extra basket, hanging high up, in the middle of the tree.

I had totally missed this pot and all the plants had died; making me a murderer and proving once again –

Water is life!

Aw, phoo. We’ve had a couple plants go and dry up when we weren’t thinking of them.

And now and then one’s come back to life with care, so my love refuses to give up on any except after heroic measures.

Not really – that is why I have the hanging baskets! πŸ˜€
It’s mid-summer here, with Water restrictions, so most gardens are looking very dry and sad.

Yes – while parts of the world have floods, we have droughts. Hopefully we will get good rains this winter (June). πŸ™‚

Oh no, you killed it. It is often easy to overlook a potted plant in the summer time. I have almost killed several of my potted flowers – failing to give them water soon enough. Yes, water is life.
