You may remember that all the trees in my garden were heavily pruned last August (my winter)?
Since there was then no shade for my hanging baskets in their current position in my large Eugenia tree, I had to move them all around, finding any bit of shade that I could.
I duly continued to water all the plants in each hanging basket:
or so I thought.
Several months later, I suddenly noticed this extra basket, hanging high up, in the middle of the tree.
I had totally missed this pot and all the plants had died; making me a murderer and proving once again –
Water is life!
It’s easy to miss it sometimes as you have many plants and dogs to take care of. No one can blame you Sci π

Aw Thank you Khloe π It was only because I had to move it – and yes, there were 6 other pots to water, so I just mis-c0unted!

hahaha well maybe you should ask your dogs to remind you to water each pot π You’re most welcome Sci. π

I always feel a dreadful pang of guilt whenever I cause the death of a plant that I’m responsible for!

Yes, I know. π¦ Unfortunately it is very easy to kill plants here at the moment, with extremely hot, dry weather.

Aw, phoo. We’ve had a couple plants go and dry up when we weren’t thinking of them.
And now and then one’s come back to life with care, so my love refuses to give up on any except after heroic measures.

haha Yes, I have also seen some amazing recoveries – but I think this plant is way beyond that! π

Our host had several pot plants, and we watered them……… eventually…….. when we remembered……. sometimes. I don’t think any actually died on us thank goodness.

Lucky π But I believe that the trouble with pot plants is usually Over-watering – so you did good! π

Not really – that is why I have the hanging baskets! π
It’s mid-summer here, with Water restrictions, so most gardens are looking very dry and sad.

Yes – while parts of the world have floods, we have droughts. Hopefully we will get good rains this winter (June). π

Oh no, you killed it. It is often easy to overlook a potted plant in the summer time. I have almost killed several of my potted flowers – failing to give them water soon enough. Yes, water is life.

Yes, But I only missed this one because I had to move them all, and then forgot where I’d put it! π
