You’re right – and I really didn’t want funeral flowers in my garden, but they were already here, so I left them. They continue to come back each year!
Great photo and nice Haiku! So true that this lily is often a garden death flower. But strangely enough when I used to work in HK, this flower was used by a confectioner that adorned their cake boxes for egg tarts, cakes and desserts! St Honore…there is a little “thunder” on top of the letter “e” but I do not have the application to type as such.
Nice click and the Haiku sends reverberations into heart, partly with a sad feeling …..
