Monkeying Around

I was sitting on the stoep with my daughter, enjoying a relaxing drink in the early hours of the evening, when we noticed Little Monkey playing on the lawn.

I like how you can clearly see the German Shepherd in her face here.

The green thing was once one of my hanging baskets, waiting for new plants, that LM had stolen from the bottom of the tree. She has great fun chewing it to pieces.

Here she had both of her front feet in the basket and was pulling away at the plastic.

She has killed it. Mission Accomplished!

haha Oh no! That is one spoilt little treasure. πŸ™‚ But it is still very sweet.
LM would help herself to food from our shopping – notably some Lindt choc reindeer one Christmas! Now we have to put the bags up on the counters till the food has been put away. πŸ™‚

I used to buy big bones for my Dobermann to chee till the vet said it would cut her gums. So I ended up buying her crackers or baby teething rusks fit for humans and we would both eat it..hmm LM is smart to find household stuff to chew.

I do have special dog teeth chews, but they tend to upset my dogs stomachs, so they only get now and then. πŸ™‚
The good thing about LM is that she won’t eat the plastic, or branch or whatever she has stolen πŸ™‚

I remember how much we spent on toys for Barney, yet his favourite was any stick we picked up on our walk and threw for him. As an experiment, we threw the stick towards a pile of them, and he was relentless in finding ‘The One’ to bring back. Maggie’s attitude is either ‘You threw it, you fetch it’ or ‘ I fetched it and I;m not letting you have it!’. πŸ™‚
