Intruder Alert!

Sparky 1

Sparky 1

Sittin’ on a fence!

Yes, the cheeky little blighter was back!

I grabbed my trusty canon and took a few shots: photos of course, not canon balls!

This through the window, and at speed, because my husband was already dashing outside to chase Sparky away!

Still, I do like the furry little things. Just as long as they stay in the garden, and not my roof!

They all seem to know how safe they are! On my walk with old Mr Spaghetti Legs yesterday, a squirrel stayed on the ground till we nearly reached it, before jumping up a wall. If I’d had Little Monkey, that squirrel would have been Long gone! 🙂

The squirrels had chewed a hole in the strong unopened dog packet! Now it is all inside, no problem.
Raccoons seem very intelligent critters! I hope the chilli powder works. 🙂

They All look very well – I guess because what passes for ‘winter’ here is fast approaching, so they are storing up on body fat 🙂 And there is always lots to eat around here. 🙂

When my kids were little and we had no pets, we’d feed a Mummy squirrel, and she would tap on the glass door for her nuts! 🙂
A flying squirrel would be amazing to have! 🙂

I love watching squirrels and chipmunks, they are so busy all the time and frisking around from tree to tree and on rocks, a delight to see.
But I do know what you mean about them running on the roof, funny, but done too often it’s annoying.

Yes, these little squirrels act and look so cute, but watch out – they get in your attic, they eat your apples and your strawberries . . . Mean, down right mean – Ha. Hope Sparky stays outside where he belongs.

Sorry, this comment disappeared! They had got into my attic and chewed a hole in the dog food in the garage! Luckily they have stayed outside lately. And if Little Monkey ever sees them, she chases them right up a tree! 🙂

Yes he is- but not quite as much as the one in the Monkey enclosure!
I’ve rarely seen a skinny squirrel in CT. They find ample food naturally, and lots of people put food out for them in their gardens, especially in winter. 🙂

Yes!! Yes!! The one in the Monkey enclosure was chubby checker lol!! Hmm maybe I should start putting out raw nuts but I worry if I attract them to come by and be a nuisance after. And I might get fined for littering ha ha our “fine” laws
