Sittin’ on a fence!
Yes, the cheeky little blighter was back!
I grabbed my trusty canon and took a few shots: photos of course, not canon balls!
This through the window, and at speed, because my husband was already dashing outside to chase Sparky away!
Still, I do like the furry little things. Just as long as they stay in the garden, and not my roof!
(See Squirrels in the Sun-Roof.)
Ha ha ha I use to have one who did exactly the same and would sit and look at my dog twitching it’s tail while she was going nuts at it through the window!

They all seem to know how safe they are! On my walk with old Mr Spaghetti Legs yesterday, a squirrel stayed on the ground till we nearly reached it, before jumping up a wall. If I’d had Little Monkey, that squirrel would have been Long gone! 🙂

Snap. They didn’t hang around for two long when I was with my terrier! I love the name Mr Spaghetti Legs…makes me smile everytime!

hehe Thank you 🙂 My daughter gave him his nickname when we got him, because of his wobbly legs, and he is white! 🙂

It’s fantastic! I nicknamed my dog Spud because when she tucks her paws under her chest she looks like a potato. She use to come back when we were out on walks and I shouted Spud!

I was getting ready to ask you if the squirrels have been getting into your attic as much. Keep your dog food well sealed! 🙂 We’ve got racoons digging up all the flowers we planted! I’ve been sprinkling chilli powder around the plants, which helps.

The squirrels had chewed a hole in the strong unopened dog packet! Now it is all inside, no problem.
Raccoons seem very intelligent critters! I hope the chilli powder works. 🙂

He/she looks well-fed and healthy. Not that I can tell though!

They All look very well – I guess because what passes for ‘winter’ here is fast approaching, so they are storing up on body fat 🙂 And there is always lots to eat around here. 🙂

I could watch them for hours, they are so cute! I used to have a sugar glider (flying squirrel).

When my kids were little and we had no pets, we’d feed a Mummy squirrel, and she would tap on the glass door for her nuts! 🙂
A flying squirrel would be amazing to have! 🙂

I love watching squirrels and chipmunks, they are so busy all the time and frisking around from tree to tree and on rocks, a delight to see.
But I do know what you mean about them running on the roof, funny, but done too often it’s annoying.

Yes, I do like to watch any wildlife in my garden, but I did not like the squirrels taking up residence inside the roof!

Squirrels can be so cheeky. Several of our friends have lost flower bulbs minutes after planting them!

Sorry – once again my comments are playing up and I missed this one from you.
I’ve lost bulbs to moles, but not yet to squirrels. 🙂

We had moles in the garden, but no flowers. The chickens were to blame for that though!

Yes, these little squirrels act and look so cute, but watch out – they get in your attic, they eat your apples and your strawberries . . . Mean, down right mean – Ha. Hope Sparky stays outside where he belongs.

Sorry, this comment disappeared! They had got into my attic and chewed a hole in the dog food in the garage! Luckily they have stayed outside lately. And if Little Monkey ever sees them, she chases them right up a tree! 🙂

“Cheeky” is the perfect word to describe squirrels like “the little blighter” on your fence. A yard without squirrels is like a day without sunshine! 🙂

I know what you mean – but can’t help adding – since I live in a hot country – that a day without sunshine is great by me! 🙂

Sparky looks well fed! Sparky look alikes at my lil red dot are skinny ha ha as we do not have nuts and such lying around for them to wolf down ha ha

Yes he is- but not quite as much as the one in the Monkey enclosure!
I’ve rarely seen a skinny squirrel in CT. They find ample food naturally, and lots of people put food out for them in their gardens, especially in winter. 🙂

Yes!! Yes!! The one in the Monkey enclosure was chubby checker lol!! Hmm maybe I should start putting out raw nuts but I worry if I attract them to come by and be a nuisance after. And I might get fined for littering ha ha our “fine” laws
