Princess Morbo, my daughter Pix’s six year old cat, went missing for two nights.
She is a house cat and unable to fend for herself, even though, as a Maine Coon cross, she is huge.
Welcome back my darling!

Meow!
from T.S.Eliot:
And the afternoon, the evening, sleeps so peacefully!
Smoothed by long fingers,
Asleep … tired … or it malingers,
Stretched on the floor, here beside you and me.

She’s beautiful, very similar to the cat we had when I was a teenager although probably much bigger. Glad to hear she came home alright, it’s hard not to worry about them when they wander.

Thank you so much 🙂 Yes, we were very worried, because as a house cat, she is useless outside against the street cats, and one in particular who scares her. (Even though she is over 5kg!)

Thank you 🙂 We’re very relieved! 🙂 Judging by the amount of twigs on her my daughter thinks she was very well hidden in bushes, and not answering to their calls because so scared. You just worry they are injured somewhere.

Yes its good she wasn’t injured, I had a little cat who had got ran over and both legs broken, she wasmissing, but dragged herself home…..happy out come, the vet repaired her legs and she was ok, but she must have been really scared.

Phew!!! Thankfully Kitty is home and safe in your home again!! You must have been worried and sad as she may be kitty napped!

Thank you 🙂 So relieved, yes! 🙂 We were worried she’d been attacked by another large cat in the area or run over, and hiding somewhere scared and injured. I don’t think much kitty-napping goes on in UK, fortunately. 🙂

Oh my! That would be the loooongest 2 days of my life!
Glad kitty is back and safe. I could see it being difficult to spot her with her dark fur.

Thank you 🙂 They called here and searched in all the bushes etc, but she was really in hiding. I think she’d been scared by an even larger cat, but you always worry they have been injured. For all her size, she is a scaredy cat and no match for the street cats! Phew! 🙂

Thank you 🙂 It is such a worry, because you never know what has happened, and if the poor thing is hiding injured and in pain somewhere. 😦
