Sunday Musings #60

She stood in the storm, and when the wind did not blow her way, she adjusted her sails.

– Elizabeth Edwards

This quote is for all those who have had to be stronger, and endure longer, than they ever thought possible.

Take a step back, breathe and try again.

You will weather the storm.

An appropriate quote for today, as winter storms batter the Cape: Finally! We desperately need the rain.

Thank you! We need lots of rain as our dams are getting empty and we have dry summers.
As to your dry winds – is it like a mistral and drives everyone crazy? 🙂

I love this post. Thank you. Sometimes it’s not easy to figure out the right way to adjust those sail though…

Thank you Aditi 🙂 I agree; it is so hard to have to keep on adjusting those sails! But in the end it is worth it, and you do find plain sailing at last. 🙂

Aw, I’m sorry to hear of your turmoil. I’m glad this quote speaks to you when you need it. I’ve always thought of you as a very strong woman; you’ve had to be. So adjust your sails and I’m sure you’ll weather the storm. Good Luck. 🙂
