    Beautiful and heartfelt words. I feel the sorrow you feel. Cheer up. Lovely flowers. Chrysanthemums are what we call it here and yes, here it is widely used as comfort flowers too. Though now, with imports, exotic flowers like tulips and birds of paradise, cheery flowers are used in bouquets or floral stands.

      I like these simple flowers, tho there was a lily or two in the bunch, the chrysanthemums will last much longer. 🙂

      Since family members live in countries thousands of miles apart, we agreed to give ourselves flowers instead of wasting all that money on Interflora! 🙂
