        That’s funny, some adages are outdated, I keep going back to them and then think about the adage — such as the one that I quoted, and you’re correct, why grow were you’re planted? perhaps one wants to replant elsewhere. Of course the violet only has the choice of growing where it’s planted unless someone or something moves it. 🙂

        Ah – I looked up the saying, so I understand now. 🙂 I sort of do agree with it though, because I don’t believe the grass is greener on the other side, which is like saying stay where you are.
        The thing I love about these little Violetta is that they somehow plant themselves; there’s another growing in the step and they creep into the lawn too 🙂 Years ago we planted a few in the flower bed and they keep coming back – and spreading. Must be the wind – or magic! 🙂

    Love it! Remember my sunflower that grew in my front walkway? I love these strong willed plants. They really know how to fight adversity. They also give us encouragement 😆
