Delicate lilac hues.
Shining in the evening sun.
Glittering like diamonds.
Tiny little wild things.
Are you supposed to be here?
Along with the Cape Daisies that I found in my garden recently, (Battered), are these teeny wild flowers. I have noticed them farther afield on grass verges around the neighbourhood, so I guess they also hitched a ride here with Little Monkey, Mr Spaghetti Legs and me.
I believe this little weed is known as Pin Clover (though I couldn’t find any references) and also Dove’s-foot Geranium.
Only less than 1 cm, that is tiny! Great photos of these pretty tiny flowers, Scifi! π

I didn’t realize how tiny they were until your last shot. Cute little things, aren’t they? π

They look really friendly, the little flowers. Springtime in SA, Scifi. Here we have the deep colors now. Have a great time,

Pretty indeed! In my lil red dot, our weeds are flowerless and genuinely weeds. I love the wild stuff that grows in SA or NZ or Australia as it is pretty in bloom. Thanks for the share Sci!

Thank you π
Tho our weeds aren’t all pretty – some have very nasty thorns! Ouch!

These are pretty – how big are the flowers?

Thank you π They are tiny – less than 1 cm – basically just in the grass. π

Oh, those would be awesome as part of the grass!

I’m very happy to have them, because my actual grass is still very sparse! π

I’d love a lawn of these π
Honestly, my lawn is mostly clover, but it stands up to the boys antics, looks beautiful in bloom and the bees are happy. Grass can’t do that!

I think your garden looks good. π
I don’t care if my lawn is weeds; it’s nice and green. Sadly, most of this seems to die down once summer arrives. (No rain.)
