Sunday Musings #71

It’s simple; if it jiggles, it’s fat.

– Arnold Schwartzenegger

I just thought this was funny; particularly for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere, as we approach summer.

Soon the jeans and long-sleeved tops will be packed away in the wardrobe and all those jiggly bits will see sunlight again.

Any woman over 30 will know what I’m talking about!

I’ll trade winter for way too hot summer any day, but then, I don’t like extremes in temperatures either way, so I guess I’m just disappointed that summer is over here, and we had no summer for most of July and August, first time I’ve ever seen that, it’s usually very hot and sunny, but this year, it was cold, damp, rainy and lightening and thunder storms.
Climate Change is very dramatic in Canada, the weather is now completely unpredictable.
Like when we had summer this year in March, April and May, unheard of, there were July and August temperatures. So I guess we did have summer this year, but it came in spring,..

It’s the same here weather wise – we didn’t get our winter rains so the dams are very low and have to last all of summer when there is no rain. Last summer (Dec/Jan) we had very hot temps of 38C day after day; I am hoping this summer is not that hot.
We humans have really messed up our climate.
But maybe you’ll have a lovely autumn? I used to like October in England. πŸ™‚
