My Floribunda rose bush produces a multitude of beautiful pink roses over and over in waves.
This is the third batch since the first buds of spring a few months ago.
It will continue to bloom almost up to winter next July, when it has a short break, before starting all over again next spring.
These are my Christmas Roses – the other name for Poinsettia!
Magnificent. π

The secret though, is that this is my daughter’s rose bush, planted many years ago. All I try to do – is not kill it! π

There are pockets of colour in my garden – from the plants that are managing to survive the drought. π

(Also, it always surprises me to see things like ‘winter next July,’ even though I know full well that is winter for you.)

And Yes I understand. π Even after having lived here for so long, I still think winter should be around Christmas! π

We have a similar breed here…except they bloom in sevens. So they are called “7 sisters” – do yours bloom in 7s?

They might be in 7’s – I’ll have to count them and see! π
