I took a photo of these pretty clouds, as the Sun was starting to set behind me.

Suddenly, the clouds parted and the Moon appeared. The Moon’s silver sheen blended in perfectly with the clouds’ sun-tipped edges.

I’m guessing that without the title of this post, many of you might not have spotted it.

The other night, the moon aligned with Mars and Venus here – and Venus has been incredibly bright all week. I’m sure some astronomer would have something to say about that!

Lovely photo-we always called it the “Children’s Moon” when it’s out at the same time as the sun…something to do with early bedtimes?! Lol! 🙂

Beautiful photos! I have a Galaxy phone as well and I know that the pics I get when I use it are the best I’ve ever taken.

Have you tried any of the specialty lenses made for smart phones and tablets? I got myself one at Christmastime and have had hit or miss results, but some things — closeups — seem sharper.

I’ve only just got my phone, so I don’t have any extras yet, tho it sounds interesting! I have my Nikon still for better photos; I’m just playing around at the moment with my camera. 🙂
