Life’s too short to finish anythi –
I’ve always loved a play on words, puns and crosswords. It’s also interesting how many English words sound different although spelt the same; (rough, bough) and many sound the same with different spelling; (bough, bow).
And how about these: “tough, through, though, thought”.
So, yeah, this clever little quote really appealed to me!
This one is so cool!! ๐

I also love plays on words, although the available space is very tiny, so there’s no room for scenery and sometimes the actors fall off.

Lol…very funny! And thorough…that’s another one. Apparently English is one of the hardest languages to learn, although when you start getting into Cyrillic alphabets…

I believe the thing with English is that England was invaded so many times, and each time the new language was absorbed into the existing one. This explains the many different spellings and pronunciations. I find it fascinating, but I’m also very glad I am a native speaker! ๐

Yes I agree with that! And then of course there’s all the regional variations to consider too..!

One that’s always been a favorite of mine is wind, as wind in the trees, and wind, as in wind up a music box. How do people ever learn this language!

Yes, that’s a good one . ๐ I am always impressed by how well none ‘natives’ master English. ๐
btw, I have tried to visit your blog, but cannot find it. Maybe you no longer blog, or are private? If you’d like me to follow you, you could pop a link here maybe. Thank you. ๐

That quote made me think… and starting tomorrow, or Monday, or perhaps March, I am going to be much more decisive, possibly, I think, may be!
