This cheeky little chap was hoping for a share in our afternoon tea and cake.
He made himself comfortable on one of the chairs while he waited.
Finally, on finding no cake forthcoming, he hopped off to try his luck elsewhere!

Birds do have a built-in radar for the best spots in town to dine at. Some are more polite than others…just like people. ๐

At least he/she was polite. Up here I have seen gulls scoop food from peoples’ hands as they fly by!

I think birds are very intelligent. – OK maybe not your average pigeon, but even they can navigate using the Earth’s magnetic field; something which I have yet to learn! ๐
