I hate when I think I’m buying organic vegetables and when I get home I discover they’re just regular donuts.

I just found this hilarious!

I don’t actually buy organic vegetables, or even any vegetables, very often, apart from the staple carrot, which I eat raw. And I’m not that keen on donuts either; they’re too greasy.

But I certainly appreciate the sentiment in the above quote. After all, however many healthy foods I buy, it’s still chocolate that I want to eat!

 

post script: WP glitch. Has anyone else noticed a problem trying to comment on posts in the WP Reader? I read the post and go to comment, only to find there is no comment box. Clicking on the comment icon takes you to the bottom of the post – where there is still no comment box. 

Any suggestions, or is this just me?

    Love that quote! Great job Reminds me of my husband and I when we grocery shop. Like today. I bring home fruits and veggies and he brings home the honey buns and Snickers bars. Lol

    No, its me as well, I have to click on to the full post and not just comment from the reader. Still never mind, it was just me being lazy just doing it from the reader. Maybe its a glitch and will resume normal play in a while. Anyway, all I want to eat is ice-cream and thats certainly not good for my diet 🙂

      Yes, I am hoping it will be fixed. My internet is so slow that I usually comment from the WP Reader, as visiting and loading each website and then each post takes a l-o-n-g time!

      I like the soft serve you get in the UK, but haven’t had one in ages. At the moment I enjoy frozen yoghurt as a treat, kidding myself it is “healthy”! 😀

        Oh one of the restaurant chains we look after, serves the most wonderful frozen yogurt, I can’t mention the name, but you have the same restaurants in SA 🙂

    ME TOO ME TOO!!!
    I can’t comment on the laptop, I actually have to click visit site…although I have no problem on my phone…I use Chrome too. I thought it was just me being punished for some dreadful WP offence…

      Thank you for letting me know. Sorry – but I’m glad I’m not alone! 🙂
      I thought it was just me doing something daft, but there are about 4 of us now with this problem, though mine persists through 3 devices and 3 browsers.

      If it is WP I suspect it has something to do with the windows at the bottom of a post in the Reader, with suggested viewing of that blog and of others.

        There are a few others following me who are finding the same problem too. I am asking a Happiness Engineer for help, since it seems it is definitely not just me.

    Re your craving for chocolate, it’s like the old saying about having your cake and eating it too: just eat DARK chocolate (the healthy kind) instead of milk chocolate. 🙂

    That is very strange.
    I have been battling with getting my ‘rate it ‘ working again. It is MIA on my puter at work, but elsewhere, it shows up fine.
    Rachel has good advice. If you use internet explorer, maybe try downloading chrome and trying that. Clearly, there is some stupid thing stopping you from seeing the comments.
    Can you look at it in your phone?
    These issues are a pain, they aren’t easy to figure out. I’ll search the help section for ya!

      I normally use Chrome, but have tried Internet Explorer and Opera, and a different laptop, and as you suggest, my smartphone, which I Know is up to date.
      I’m beginning to think it is something in my settings again – but I have not gone near them since the last problem!

      Why can I see my own comment box in the WP Reader, but no-one else’s?
      As you know, my internet sucks, so having to visit each blog when I want to comment is gonna take forever.

      It looks like, once again, it’s just me having the problem.
      But a WP Happiness engineer is looking into it for me. 🙂

    Just testing the comment box in the Reader! It looks to be working for me. Try clearing your browser cache and testing with a different browser. Are you using any browser extensions like ad-blockers? These can sometimes hide legitimate elements on the page.

      Funny, but my own comment box does appear in the WP Reader!

      I have deleted the cache and tried a different browser, but still other bloggers’ comment boxes do not appear.

      OK I’ve just tried a different laptop and the browser Opera with Ads allowed, and still no comment box.

        I’m not sure what this is but it does sound like it’s something specific to your browser or computer. I know you tried a couple of browsers already. Have you tried clearing cookies and cache? Are you using any firewalls or ad-blockers on your computer which might be affecting multiple browsers? I checked your account and there are no problems there – I can see the comment box.

        Thank you for looking into this. I have done all you suggested and the problem persists on multiple devices, browsers and without Adblocks.
        However, it is not just me anymore.
        If you read my comments for this post, you’ll see there are 3 others who are also experiencing this problem –

        I do think it might be something WP has changed, as I see the WP Reader has a different look, specifically the suggested readings at the end of the post, which is where the comment box should be.

        Think of it as reporting a bug rather than complaining because that’s exactly what it is. We always welcome bug reports so don’t ever hesitate to pass one along.

        PS I’ve just refreshed my WP Reader, and the problem seems to be fixed. The comment box is back. I double checked on a post I know did not have it this morning. Yay 🙂
