The Plant that Lived Under the Chair!

Geranium 1

Why?

Because Little Monkey ran straight through it the day it was planted, and flattened it.

Geranium 2

Being a plucky little geranium, it survived.

Geranium 3

But let’s not chance our luck.

Hence the chair!

Well – talking about weeds – I planted some pansies, and watered them (sparingly – drought). All around them weeds grew! Why are they So successful? It breaks my back to pick each one out!

That I can never understand, how weeds grow so well, it would be so much easier it they were the plants, but I have yet to come across a really pretty weed. I have an aching back tonight, trying to do a couple of hours each night…..it must be good for me πŸ™‚

Like it. I’m not very lucky with plants, either indoors or outside. My only rampant success was an Easter/Christmas cactus in the 80s which flowered twice a year and I was forever taking cuttings off it for other people.

I’m rubbish with plants; the best I can do is water them and leave them to themselves! If I touch them – they die!! – Black Fingers! πŸ˜€
