This is the colour of winter here in Cape Town.
I’m not sure of the exact species of Red Hot Poker, kniphofia, that this is:
Just that, with the blue skies and mountains in the background, it is very impressive.
Certainly, they brighten any winter’s day.
All that’s missing is the rain!
The Colour of Winter it seems, is still red.
Very nice. I like your winter, but not summer. I hope you’ll get some more rain. 🙂

They are beautiful on mass, we have a large clump, most likely a little different from the ones in your photos, but still that beautiful vibrant orange. Lovely photos and nice to see a bit of blue sky…..a little wet here at the moment, after a few days of lovely sunny weather 🙂

These plants do seem to grow well in many places. 🙂
Hoping for rain any minute here – and not too soon!

Thank you 🙂
They look pretty hardy to me; almost like weeds; so I’m sure they grow all over 🙂
