Happiness!

Little Monkey 1

Little Monkey and Loggy. Could anything be happier?

Little Monkey doesn’t have expensive toys; she has never really cared for them, especially if they squeak!

She prefers to make her own toys, such as this giant log that she carries round the garden in her mouth. She finds a nice spot to lie down and then proceeds to chew chunks off the bark and spit them out. It keeps her happy for hours and is good for her teeth too, I guess.

Gotcha Day

I’ve never heard of this being celebrated over here, but I have read about it on other blogs. As chance would have it, today is Little Monkey’s Gotcha Day. I adopted her 11 years ago at the age of 18 months.

And my life has never been the same since!

LM seems to be a very important part of your life and you surely love her a lot which she will return every day. It’s always nice to have an animal. I would love to have a cat again, but don’t tell LM, she might try to catch it:)

Happy anniversary to you adopting LM. I think LM is a cost saving pet as she tends to go for the log..nature..waste not, want not! LM is a good dog. Garfield hugsβ€πŸ€—πŸΆ

Wonderful photos and Little Monkey does look perfectly happy!πŸ™‚ I was going to ask if you made her a batch of cupcakes for the special day, but I see she had tuna for supper.πŸ™‚ Dogs offer so much joy and happiness and thanks for sharing Little Monkey with us.πŸ™‚

Thank you so much for noticing the Happy LM photos. πŸ™‚ You are the only one to comment on them, as everyone else just jumped to the Gotcha Day, which I actually put in as an after thought! πŸ˜€
LM also got special treats at her dog class yesterday (where she has been going for 11 years!). We walked round the class giving treats to all the other dogs. πŸ™‚

Ha ha that log is bigger than any of my four dogs, but Eddie the smallest would give it go. So glad the LM got to her spend all her Gotcha Day Years with you πŸ™‚

        No worries, I understood πŸ™‚
Yes, LM is the only one now. It is very hard to find a dog that will put up with poor LM being anxious and unsocialised; SL was a godsend.
LM is Very happy on her own tho, plus she costs a lot in vets bills and meds now as she is older! – so I can’t afford another dog.

Simple things make the best toys. I am thinking of how much fun it is for kids to play with cardboard boxes πŸ™‚

Can totally relate to your final sentence. It is Ray’s 5th anniversary with us in March, and we can reflect on all the personal freedom that we lost 5 years ago … but then … look what we gained. Regrets? Absolutely none. Happy anniversary LM! πŸ™‚

haha Funny but I never thought of dog (or cat) owners as odd! But I grew up with a family dog so I guess I think it is the norm to have a pet. πŸ™‚
