Haiku 67
Eager to appear
Start your journey in winter
By jumping the gun
.
Sprouting between the dead twigs of my (resurrected) asparagus fern, my spring freesias are just about ready to open. Though they are still a little green, it won’t be long now.
Funny how Nature decides when it will be spring.
By my calendar it should be 21st September!
Happy to hear spring is near. π

Lovely haiku. Freesias are such wonderful flowers, but did you know some people canβt smell them!

Great pics! π
Here in the U.S. a lot of plants are blooming out of schedule! Climate change?

Thank you very much. π
Yes, I’m sure the changing weather confuses many plants.

I love thinking about it being spring – such a long way away for us.

I think everyone loves spring. π
Funny thing is – it was the coldest day here today – at 7C! – But I’d already scheduled my Spring post! π
