Tiny Miracles of Nature

Feather 1

Haiku 83

Found on my carpet

Wondering where you come from

Tiny grey feather

Feather 2

Isn’t a feather quite simply perfect?

post script: The feather where I found it on my carpet (second photo) is hard to make out, so the first photo shows it more clearly, on top of my hi-fi speaker, lit by sunlight from the window.

haha Being allergic to feathers I thought I didn’t have any in the house – but now you made me think about my daughter’s ostrich feather boa – but that is bright blue!

Yes, I thought it looked like a pillow feather – but we don’t have any! – I’m allergic, as my Mum found out when I was a kid! πŸ™‚

Feathers are lovely…I remember having a peacock feather when I was a kid- and finding it to be the most beautiful thing.

Feathers have always fascinated me. This little feather is really beautiful….and so delicate looking. I love the pattern of the darker grey spots.

Must be from a migatory bird flying by or frightened by LM that it shed a feather haha🀣🀣Your camera is so good that it captures the finery of the featherπŸ‘πŸ˜€

Thank you πŸ™‚ – It did take a few shots to get the focus and light right! πŸ™‚
And yes quite likely the bird was scared off by LM! πŸ˜€
