Just when I think that I don’t have any tears left after this month, more begin to fall thinking of you and Little Monkey. Your poem and photo perfectly capture the loss that is noticed throughout the day during so many moments and all the special routines we created with them by our side with that special expression on their face. You could feel Little Monkey’s joy and happiness through her photos and your words and I know all those special memories will be cherished forever. Take care and I’m thinking of both of you often.

      Thank you so much πŸ™‚
It does get easier, but is easier still if you have another dog with you when one dies, so you can still do all the doggy things you are used to.
Sending hugs your way too. πŸ™‚

Their spirit remains, everywhere. They become so much a part of everyday that they leave a huge void. I think they do it on purpose so we do not forget them.

Good thing I have tissues handy. 😒 At 79 I have experienced the pain and grief of losing a pet many times. One would think it would be easier each time, but it isn’t. With the passing of time it will get better. LM will always be in your heart. I wish you an easy journey through your grief.

Thank you for your kind words. πŸ™‚
No, it doesn’t get easier – even old Mr Spaghetti Legs that I had only had for 3 years left a huge hole in my heart!
It does get better with time though, then you can remember the fun times together and smile. πŸ™‚
