Honeysuckle Sunshine

These are the Honeysuckle bushes we planted several months ago to brighten up a new wall.

They have flourished!

Honeysuckle 2

Producing flowers already, they are even ahead of the older bushes around the corner.

They range from yellow, gold and orange, to red at the end, though those flowers are not out yet.

They certainly brighten up my day, when I open the curtains in the morning to be greeted by their colourful smiles.

And the Sunbirds have found them again, adding a little more sunshine to the day.

Oh yes thank you πŸ™‚ …….honeysuckle will always do the trick, instant sunshine, love the colours and do they have that lovely smell. We have a very pale cream one, that when flowering, smells gorgeous in the evening πŸ™‚

First time seeing honeysuckle in all its colors and splendour up front and personal. Read about honeysuckles but never seeing it till your photos. Lovely and I can imagine how bright and cheery your hedge is looking!πŸ˜€πŸ‘

      Thank you πŸ™‚
Yes, there are many different varieties and colours. My new plants are coming along well, and the ones planted the year before are massive! I’ll trim them into a hedge after they have flowered. πŸ™‚

Oh! Boy! I haven’t seen Honeysuckle since I was a kid. We had a section of it in our yard. Yes, honeysuckle would brighten up any day. We’re expecting a bunch of snow and ice here, so your photos will be looked at many times to keep me sane!!! Lol.

Aw Thank you πŸ™‚ Glad the sunny pics helped a bit. πŸ™‚
I wouldn’t mind some snow here – tho today has been cooler as we had a strong breeze. πŸ™‚

      Thank you πŸ™‚
These grow very easily here in the Cape Town sun – but they don’t have much of a scent. Still, I have some jasmine that makes up for it. πŸ™‚
