Haiku 107
Nature’s own artwork
Strata of sand, sea, rock, sky
Calm after the storm
.
It had just rained that morning, clearing the air.
Once the clouds started to dissipate, the sun peeped out and the day brightened up. There wasn’t much wind either.
A perfect day for a walk on the beach with a mountain view.
This is Kommetjie Beach, Cape Town.Β
Fabulous photo and poem!π

Great photograph. I am guessing that the drought status is improving.

Thank you π
We still have water restrictions and everyone is still doing their bit. This time last year the dams were 20% full; today they are 47%. – Which is great, as we have had the dry season and are heading into the rainy season. Hopefully some rain next Friday. π
And thank you for asking. π

Wow.
The sound and taste of rain, open spaces, mountains and beauty.
Next problem, where to moor the boat.

Sci, this is stunning! I love the billowing clouds behind the mountains….they appear to be coming out of them!! Your Haiku fits your photo to a tee.

Yes, we often see clouds “rising” from the mountains. π
