After working hard to bury his treasure, which he is still doing in my plant pots (see earlier post; Buried Treasure) little Sparky the squirrel is in need of a drink.
It is the cutest thing to watch him pottering around on my stoep.
Even cuter to watch him drinking from the dog bowl: that the Olive Thrush bathes in!
Just look at those little legs!
Oh so sweet. Sparky sounds a friendly little soul β€

Its funny to see that the same critter lives all over the world and does the same thing…digging, burying, and drinking or stealing seed from the bird feeder.

Thank you π
He is all too sweet as long as he stays on my stoep and not in my roof! π

Maybe too close to the sea? π

Maybe, but we do have the park and that has trees.

Awww, how cute is this! Sparky has a long tail! My neighbor has a bird feeder that looks like a bowl suspended from a shepherds hook. Yesterday a squirrel was sitting in the bowl just as nice as you please, swinging back and forth like a kid would on a swing! His fluffy tail was flying in the breeze. And if that wasn’t cute enough, he would reach down into the bowl, grab a “handful” of seeds, and stuff his mouth! Lol.
These critters can be very entertaining……unless they’re destroying your attic! ππ
