That fail moment when you pull your blankets up and punch yourself in the face.
– Unknown
Haha Happens to me quite a lot!
I suspect that most of my readers don’t need blankets at the moment, as you experience summer heatwaves up in the North!
But down here in South Africa it is still winter; granted not like your winters; but still cold enough at night to warrant a blanket or two!
Hahaha omygosh! I’ve never punched myself in the face while pulling up the blankets, but I didn’t poke myself in the eye with my toothbrush once while brushing my teeth. I don’t even know how it happened haha!

It happens to the best of us – I am swaddled up in blankets here as the aircon gets cold. You brought a smile to my face as I was feeling down with fever. Not a fun day today at Bates Motel Sigh!

Aw I just read your post.
I hope you feel a bit better very soon. π

Ha Ha, only I’ve got something much worse that happens to me a lot.
Pull my covers up and my toes stick out the end.
On a cold night, that’s not funny!
As for sharing the bed with SWMBO?
She like to sleep cold, I NEED to sleep hot.
Take a flying guess who wins at temperature control (Clue, it isn’t me.)

Tip – just fold a blanket in half and put it on top your side of the bed, then you can be a snug as you like! π

Chuckle.
Problem is even doing that fails the SWMBO test. I have however got REALLY THICK socks for winter nights.

Fortunately for me, I am such a klutz, that I just shrug it off. Tho I will wonder where I got the black eye the next morning! π

Stay warm, Scifi. It’s going to be 100 F today here.

Gosh that is way too hot! We’re sitting at about 60F – which is fine for winter! π

When we’re camping and not paying for electricity, I set that ac at freezing βοΈπ¨ It’s the only time I’m not heat flashing π₯ππ and still get to use the blanket!

I did! Sadly, didn’t have time to reply yet. Did take down/revised that last post tho, so our laundry wasn’t hanging out to dry π

No worries at all. I just didn’t like the idea of my email sitting in spam somewhere and you thinking I hadn’t replied. π
Thanks for taking in the laundry! π

Hahahah!! Too funny. I’ve done that many times. It’s a rude way to wake up! And you’re right, no blankets needed here. Enjoy your blanket weather while you have it. It’s easier to find a way to get warm than to get cool.

It is a bit of a surprise when you do that! π
And yes! I totally agree – it is much easier to warm up than try to keep cool! π
