I know you’re happy when you

Grow abundantly

My daughter Ski gave me this lovely fynbos bush last September. It’s an Erica Versicolour, and has settled in nicely and grown a great deal.

It started producing flowers almost at once and has continued to do so ever since.

We are now heading into the winter months here in Cape Town, but it will burst forth anew in Spring, next September.

You have the most unique flowers and plants where you live. These in particular are beautiful. Kind of look like a flowering evergreen. And your haiku gives it perspective.

      Thank you very much 😀
Yes, the fynbos plants are unique to this small part of the Cape in SA. They are evergreen and well adapted to survive our weather conditions such as drought. 😀

If I was that beautiful , I’d be happy too! Apparently, this beauty loves it’s new home and the tender loving care it receives from you!

I do pamper my fynbos plants – such as Mr Spaghetti Legs’ little one that is right next to this one. 😀

Sorryy — my bad for not making my Trump reference more clear. It was in regard to “you’re happy when you grow abundantly” (Trump doesn’t grow at all, much less abundantly).

What a mix-up. I forgot that I was replying to quiall — nonetheless, I could well have been responding to your post too. Anyway, I guess we’re all straight now!
