The giant syringa tree that was heavily pruned a few months ago is making a game recovery. See Exposure

Syringa Tree 2 – Pruned

It took a while to get going, but now is in full swing. By this time next year you won’t be able to tell it was ever cut back.

A successful cover-up indeed.

I love the shape, such an art piece in itself and “live”too. I always marvel how a tree that is trimmed almost bare can regain its crowning glory over time. Just like us, trimming our hair. In Lil Red Dot, we have trees planted by the government everywhere as part of the green city we embrace. However in thunderstorms or heavy downfalls, these trees may sometimes topple and do property damage. So, these trees are usually “butchered” by the National Environment Agency and will stand “naked” but then as the weeks go by, they are big and shady again. Nature at its best in rejuvenating itself! Thanks for a lovely share and Haiku that comes with it. Happy weekend ahead.

Mother Nature at her best! All living things need to step back, take a break, and regroup every so often.

Yes, we all need to do that. 🙂
This particular tree has been pruned many times, so I know how happily it regrows. 😀

Nice. Nature has a way of recovering all by itself. We have a pollarded (heavily pruned) tree a couple of streets away that has recovered in two years. It’s now a haven for little birds during the summer.
