      Glad to hear you had a good Christmas. We three also had a much better-than-expected time! 😀
      You talked of always being behind with your archive photos etc in one of your posts today.
      This is how far behind I am at the moment – Only now replying to your comment of nearly a week ago!

    I left at 17 , married at 21 and lost my dad shortly thereafter. My mom moved into a small apartment. We never did “go home for Christmas” but did have the pleasure of her spending a few of them with us. That was years ago, but Christmas never loses it’s magic. I serves an an inspiration for what’s to come. Merry Christmas Sci

      Yes, we make our own new Christmas traditions over time.
      It’s all so long ago, but just that I do miss having a COLD Christmas!! 😀

        When the kids were young we were ‘forced’ to get up early.
        When they were grown, we could sleep late. aahhh

        Now that I/we are old we are ‘forced’ to get up early once again. And once you’re up you might as well stay up. lol
        Having frozen pizza for lunch. No muss! No fuss! Lovely!
