Congratulations! Your inquisitiveness has found this secret bonus page.
I had a few goals when starting this blog. One was to write for a month and see how I liked it. – tick.
Others emerged as I got into the spirit of the whole blogging experience. I really enjoy reading other peoples blogs, and admiring their wonderful photos. New (to me) posts appear all the time and I find a feeling of belonging to a world wide community of others who have something to say. What fun to discover that someone across the world in America, England, Australia or Rumania has read my little blog.
I have many interests – not just my dogs – though obviously this is news to them! So, my posts rapidly developed into different genre, as it were. This sort of began when Plant stuck her nose in on a Monday blog (The Plant that Could). Then Monday became a Not Dog blog, with photos of flowers, or skies, or around Cape Town etc
Other interests began to insert themselves during the week – something that happened on the day (Little Monkey ‘breaking’ my finger), or a photo I really liked. Friday became fun day – of course! The weekends emerged as writing only – Saturday, my own preference, Sunday the musing coffee coaster. And so it goes.
The one thing I love about writing is that when you are having fun, it takes over. So this blog has developed by itself, which is fine by me. I have so many ‘tails’ to tell, so many photos – and new things happening all the time – that I hope to keep going for a while yet.
People who know me were very supportive of my starting a blog. I think they thought that finally I would stop telling them dog stories over and over, since now I would be writing about them. Yes, that worked well. But now I talk about my Blog all the time. hahaha
Haha! Sounds like you have a great sense of humour 🙂 Looking forward to seeing more!

You answer the 8 questions I have asked you by copying them onto your blog in a new blog post and then nominate some blogs who inspire you and choose some questions you would like them to answer.:-)

Thank you for the nomination. It is very kind of you 🙂
When I first started blogging a few years ago, I decided to be Awards Free, but I do appreciate you thinking of me. 🙂

No problem. I was surprised at how much time it actually took up doing it. It also feels a little bit like a chain letter, although a positive one in recognition for your hard work 🙂

It is time consuming, which was one of my reasons for not doing it, as I spend far too much time on WP as it is! 🙂
But it is mostly just good fun between nice WP people 🙂

I, too, have found that my blog has evolved. It’s kind of taken on a life of its own, taking me to places I hadn’t intended to explore when I started. For me, going with the flow has been so rewarding.

That’s great to hear 🙂 I think it is its own reward, and to just enjoy the whole experience too 🙂

Thanks for commenting and following my blog. Those follows make posting seem worthwhile and important. Right now, I’m at an impasse with regard to my own content. I’ve mostly had a sense that there’s nothing I really need to say—or wouldn’t it really just come to me? My passions are varied, so I will work at one thing for awhile, then move on to another, and eventually the blog finally gets my attention again. I used to try to write something more meaty and introspective, but that doesn’t seem practical for even once a week. For now, I take pictures and play with them, perhaps post them, and include a little narrative about how I felt about what I captured, as I was capturing it, or just WHAT it is that I captured. I find comfort in the idea that others’ blogs also evolve, and it’s not a bad thing. 🙂 Perhaps I should resign myself to this style and relax about it. 🙂 Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the visit, comments and follow 🙂
I think it’s fine to post what and when you feel like it. After all, it is Your blog, so do what makes you happy. That is all that counts 🙂

I know the feeling about blog evolution. I had one about restoring a hiking trail, then moved on to mountain biking and now transitioned into more about photos. My goal is to incorporate all my interests into the blog but that isn’t always easy. Keep up the good work and follow your heart. 🙂

Thank you so much for the visit, follow and kind comment 🙂 I agree about following your heart. You can only be true to yourself, and then it is fun! I am surprised how many people are out there with a similar sense of humour. And I am thoroughly enjoying the whole blogging experience so far.
