Gorillas in the Shade

There are three gorillas hiding here in the dappled shade. They blend in so well with their surroundings that, large as they are, you can walk right past one before you realise it is there. They are wooden carvings, on a trail at Kirstenbosch botanical gardens, Cape Town.

      It really is! So much to choose from – sea, forests, mountains, nature reserves, wine routes! And good weather, most of the time. 23C today; mid-winter. Thank you for the visit and comment 🙂
