Oh Christmas Tree

Christmas Tree 1

Christmas Tree 1

I wish this marvellous tree was in my garden, and not in a neighbour’s round the block.

With a tree like this, who needs one inside, all decorated with wessel cups?

I pass by this wonder quite often, when I walk the dogs this way; always meaning to take a photo. Today was the day!

And what were the dogs doing?

Little Monkey and Mt Spaghetti Legs

Waiting patiently, of course. And yes, LM is sitting with her bum up on the kerb! Such an elegant lady!

It was nearly 5pm, (long shadows), but still hot. Frosty the snowman was nowhere to be seen!

post script: I have googled this tree for you. It is an Illawarra flame tree; Brachychiton acerifolius. You’re welcome!

Why am I not surprised it is Australian? Your flora grows so well here πŸ™‚ – We have tons of Blue Gum trees πŸ˜€
It really does stand out and I haven’t seen another one.

haha You are right! Even now, mid summer, there’s tons of red stuff on the ground. Fortunately, as it’s not my tree, I don’t have to worry about that πŸ™‚

Stunning shots! ❀ I would also love to have these trees in my garden as well or at least somewhere close to where I live. πŸ˜‰ I wonder what these trees are called. Do you know?

I don’t mind neighbors having great trees, as long as I can see them also. No work and all the enjoyment! 🌳 This one is very cool. Actually in the magnolia family, if you know those. .. This one has a wonderful color!

I don’t have any pets. Just enjoying everyone elses. πŸ™‚ The more I read about dogs/cats the more remarkable I know they are.

Yes – I do love this tree πŸ™‚ So cheerful. And LM always sits inelegantly. Once she sat up some steps, front feet at bottom, back feet on next step, and bum at the top πŸ˜€
