Translucent Marine Animals

Sea worms

Sea worms

I love these little guys, doing their own thing, tide in, tide out!

I think they feed by gathering tiny particles of food on their hairy bodies; then quickly scoot back inside the protection of the central part.

Sorry for the poor quality of the photo, but you know I only have my little 10MP Canon.

Dianthus

Dianthus

Of course, I could just be tricking you again!

Yes, this is simply a lovely purple Dianthus flower.

haha Awesome! Tho Sun City is a looong way from CT! And I often think about my blogging friends – if they would be disappointed if they actually met me!

Of course we won’t be as you are kind…we can tell when an adult takes in homeless old dogs…no disappointment but happiness in knowing a blogger friend! πŸ˜€

hehe You too? πŸ™‚ I wasn’t really aware of these central bits till I looked closely at the photo. You can spot the most amazing things sometimes πŸ™‚

Take solace in the fact that you have made my day!! I showed this photo to my daughter yesterday and asked her what it was. She replied without any hesitation – a dianthus!! So, thank you for playing along πŸ™‚ They really did look like little worm things to me!!
