Funny how even a normal suburban street can look so exotic and different – when you are in another country.
Of course, a cafe on the street could hint that you are in foreign lands; but hard to tell when the menu is still in English! Then again, the cars are parked on the right hand side of the road and we drive on the left in SA.
And just to prove that I was hereΒ – a photo of me at Potsdamer Platz, Berlin.
And no, I didn’t mind the rain at all. (I grew up in the UK, remember?)
Beautiful photos…!!! Have a nice weekend Scifihammy..!!!

So funny that something as simple as cars on the ‘wrong’ side of the street makes something look off! (Looks pretty normal to me, though!).

haha Well – funny thing is, I wasn’t really aware of How the cars were parked, just now and then when I was trying to cross the road, I found they were driving on the wrong side! π

The backwards look – I always start remembering to look the other way first about two hours before I’m ready to leave somewhere they drive on the left hand side of the road!

Absolutely! My daughter had to pull me back more than once – as a car was heading straight for me. But where I was looking was clear! π

hehe I’ve ‘starred’ a few times in my posts – one not so long ago along the river Thames, and just the other day – it is me looking up at the big dinosaur! But since I didn’t point it out, no-one noticed! π
And thank you – nearly finished my trip now. π

While I like to remain anonymous, I am inherently honest, so there is a photo of me and my old dog TJ on my ‘About’ page – My Tail Too.
It’s pretty obvious I am over 30! π

The street signs looks foreign to me. Of course, I would like to see those bicycles in that last photo π

That is a very beautiful street in the first photo. As for being anonymous that is fine, don’t want the wrong person to see how beautiful we are and perhaps stalk us. Ha Sorry, just my humor.

hahaha Never thought of the stalking thing – but you can’t be too careful! π

Most pics on a blog allow one to click on the photo to enlarge it so freckles on the face and the stringy wet hair from the rain can be seen. We need better proof that it was really you.

hahaha I know you so well! The photo is deliberately low resolution, and enlarging away will not show my face! I remain anonymous! π

You used to blame posting small files on your poor ISP. Now you confess to deliberate deceit.
Actually it wasn’t you I wanted to see so much. It was those stylish boots that another person in the pic was wearing. lol

True I have to downsize my photos due to rubbish internet, but I’m also careful what you can see when enlarged!
Of course you wanted to see those boots! π
