Nincompoop. Definition: A foolish or stupid person – or dog!
So who’s the Nincompoop?
Little Monkey of course!
This morning when I went outside to give treats to my dogs, Little Monkey was so excited, she jumped up in the air with all four feet off the ground. This is usual.
Mr Spaghetti Legs, who was trying to get out of the way of her and the door, turned sideways.
Unfortunately, he ended up squarely under LM as she landed back down!
So now SL was under LM; as you can see from the *illustration below.
Yes, SL is smaller than LM, but not that small. He didn’t quite fit: at all!
His little spaghetti legs gave way under her weight, as he dragged himself out from under her.
Honestly!
I looked at LM and said, “OMG LM! You Idiot! How on earth do you still have your face?”
Any other dog would have reacted and snapped at LM; even bitten her.
Not old Mr Spaghetti Legs; who puts up with all her nonsense, with a quiet dignity.
This is why the old boy is priceless.
This is why LM chose him two and a half years ago.
* What do you mean, my drawing is child-like? I’ll have you know, kids used to queue up at school to have me draw pictures of horses for them.
Yes, I was only eight years old, but my drawings were pretty darn good.
Fair enough! My drawing skills have not improved since then!
I love the drawing! You really captured LM’s ears 🙂

hehe Thank you very much. I kind of went for a representation effect with her ears. 🙂

You’ve got to admire Mr. Spaghetti Legs’s patience. I hope I always have as much. 🙂

I think it takes years to acquire! But we can all aspire to being that tolerant. 🙂

PS – your drawing was at least high school level 😉 You show a perspective many can’t translate to paper. I couldn’t!

haha Well thank you kindly! 🙂 I would have drawn stick figures – but you really can’t show the angles then.
Still, I won’t give up my day job! 😀

Dogs are nincompoops one way or another 😉 that’s why I love them so much!
Poor Mr SL… LM doesn’t respect his space. Treats over family… literally!

LM absolutely does not respect SL – or his space! But they are a mini pack and support each other when needed. 🙂

Well, some dogs just have to much excitement built in their bodies and they often get too entergetic. I think your drawing is quite nice myself – no one should make fun of anything another person does – talent shows itself in different ways.

Thank you 🙂 LM can’t help herself – even tho she is getting older! She will always be a bouncy dog, that I use my energy in calming!
Agh, I’m not an artist, and that is OK with me 🙂

Cute drawing that depicts dogs! Ha! Good drawing I assure you because if I drew that, it would be nothing resembling pooches but two round balls ha ha😉So you still have artistic flair my friend 😉👍👏👏

As for nincompoops …. it takes one to know one. Or so I’ve been told. 😉
