Hang On!

Gecko

Gecko

Galaxy 6

This little gecko treks across my ceiling in the evenings. I love his little toes!

I don’t know why he goes on safari through the great expanse of wilderness up there, when any ants to be had would surely be at ground level, but he certainly provides entertainment for me; mostly in hoping he doesn’t fall off!

This is the sixth in my series of Galaxy camera phone photos. I had to climb on a chair to be close enough to get a good shot of him!

Moths I can agree on! 🙂
My one daughter really hates them and once she was sitting quietly reading on the sofa aged about 7, when a ginormous moth fluttered round the room and decided to settle on her shoulder. This thing was at least 2 inches across. I got up quietly, trying to shoo it off her before she noticed. Too late! Screams! 😀

Oh, poor thing, the daughter, not the moth 🙂 2 inches, thats big. Luckily here in fens, although you would think we would have large ones, they are quite small, so its now not too bad. Once in France I ran screaming out of a room, when the French lady was showing us our room…..my husband said to her, my wife won’t share the room with anyone but me, she laughed….she got rid of the moth 🙂

        hahaha Funny story! 🙂
Better not come here – in summer anyway – as our butterflies are even larger! I keep looking up to see the unusual bird, only to realise it is a butterfly! 🙂

How sweet 🙂 I’ve seen plastic air fresheners shaped like geckos here, with sticky feet, all in bright jewel-like colours…not half as cute as the real thing though!
