Sunday Musings #66

That moment when you spell a word so wrong, even auto-correct is like, “I’ve got nothing man.”

– Anon

Actually, I find this happens quite a lot, as I write British English, and not American English. I am repeatedly being advised I have *spelt (and that’s one!) things incorrectly.

But the worst is when I have simply transposed two letters, Auto-correct offers wildly different suggestions that have nothing to do with the ever so slightly misspelt word!

*Above Auto-correct tells me spelt should be “slept”, “pelt” or “pelts”!

The autocorrect on my iPad drives me crazy. I have to watch it like a hawk or it starts sending out the most appalling nonsense in replies to my blogging friends. (Rereads this comment very carefully)

Haha πŸ˜‚ we all have thoughs moments, I sometimes write on my blog, it doesn’t look right so I change and it still doesn’t look correct, check out dictionary and comes up with American version, but British was what I first wrote, which then annoys me lol 😁

I have an android phone, which means I have ‘swipe-ability’ and can drag my finger from letter to letter, which is much faster than those iphone folks. However, swiping can create some crazy combos in the spelling department.

hahaha Seems to be a Universal problem πŸ™‚ And I can only imagine it getting worse when we get speaking technology. How the computer will mess up then! πŸ™‚

I know how you feel! The worst thing is that I’ve got so confused with spellings and rushed typing that my autocorrect is horrifically wrong!
